Hi Fooster, first of all, great guide!
Heres a couple of questions:
My guild (Its not the one you see here, i just dunno how to change it), has gotten really specialized in this way of doing the UW runs. Ive done runs in 30 mins, and my guildies have even faster times (No screenshots, but trust me), but theres something i wonder about.
Couldnt there be variants of the solo sin build, because we've ran with lots of variants, and the sin always gets done with his job, before everyone else anyways (if he doesnt fail ofc).
Second of all, does the ursans have to be warriors? Because i have ran as ursan (im an ele), and still done escorts - wrathful and slayer, after only 20 mins has past.

there are other variations you may use once you get the general tactics down. mesmers for example. i have even sent in a smite monk in to bone pits
since those monsters are considered as undead.
i use warriors for the ursans because they have (once set up with the right insignias)200 armour and 12 00 health. makes the monks job easy for one plus one ursan can solo 12 mindblades with no healing at all.

ther is an ursanless veriosn i have but its alot simpler to just run ursans.

there is more than one way to skin a cat.

Why are ya'll still fighting terro webs? If ya'll where done the pic would be in the lab or all terro webs dead..cuz really its not done till you kill those terro webs in the plains
Our Guilds fastest time is 29min...WoW just WoW on ya'll 20min run GRATZ!
Question what/where you using shadow of haste at is that to solo Ice King as Terra?

I know that there a endless ways to do this
But wouldn't it be possible for a team like i mentioned (with one ele ursan, and an A/E solo sin), to also get their time as fast as one with the exact builds as in your guide. Because in the end, doesn't this run rely on how fast the terras are? Because its usually them, you have to wait for, from what ive experianced.
I may not see the overall perspective though, since i havent ran it this way, as a terra.

It seems a little silly to ask the question. Yes you could use an alternative. In fools post it's simply what he suggests. You don't need warrior Ursans. He's just saying it makes it easier to have them.

the sin role is kinda of hard to change the build. this build can clear chamber, do unwanted, ice king quest, pits, plains, clear grasp/colds/terrors in vale. i guess its possible to go a/e but everything u do will be slower. energy gets a bit tighter, cant spam aoe skills as much. with this build, the sin is pretty flexible. i cant see a/e doing even half of that in nearly the same time that a/me or me/a.

An A/E perma SF sin can do all that.
I'm not questioning that the A/Me sin is faster and more flexible though, im questioning whether the sin has to be. Because the sins job is the fastest, from what i can see.

Since arcane echo is no longer needed to keep SF up forever what does the sin take in its place?

eric clapton - keep arcane echo. echo cry of pain. also if cons go down, use it to perm sf until it goes back up.
smoking hot - as i said the a/e can do what the a/me can but its slower. if u want to achieve 20min clears then go a/me. if it doesnt matter what the clear time is and if the other ppl in the group are slow also and no one will bitch at you for being slow then sure, a/e will work fine. but its all preference really. i like the a/me for its versatility and even if there are deaths or whatever, i can go res them or try to finish up what they have left and still keep it a one conset run.

amazing build and a job well done =D.
Im kinda surprised that nobody else has noticed the 11361 hrs 45 mins over 35 months O.O. thats almost 11 hours a day on average

not really since this is the only game i realy play, i would quite often just leave guild wars on when i went to wrok,. or all night when i goto bed

and thats not including the times my room mate used to play as well the number just shows how many hours my account has been logged in.

but i do average about 3 or 4 hours a day of actual play time exept weekends.

dont start on the ursan bashing here. this is not the thread to express your opinion of ursan.
This is a guide on how to speed clear UW for those that wanna open a chest every 30 minutes instead of every 60+ minutes.

Keep the focus on the topic at hand witch is the guide itself and the tactics used. leave ursan out of it. its a VERY small step to simply take out the ursans and put something else in thier place.

there are many ways to skin a cat and as i said somewhere previous,
there is an ursanless version i have made.

perhaps i should post it. but its more the tactics and timing that make the build work and the skill bars are only a small part of it. its the guy using the bar more than the bar itself.

Besides its much more intersting to see how many versions can stream out from this once these tactics are mastered.

how can an ursanless team achieve the same time? well the answer is right here in this thread. just take out the ursans and insterd your own idea.

*note* the skill bars i posted there are a litttle out of date since i make suttle changes every 2 or 3 days, such as now i only run ONE monk. i dont use the woh monk at all. my team has run this soo many times they take very little damage. 1 decent monk can keep up. other changes i have made
are found through out the screenshots.

The ursanless version is such a small step away form this, since we only use 2 or 3 ursans, that becoms how can 3 other classes do the same damage output as 3 ursans. now the ursans make this build pugable. you only really need 1 guy(the tank) to know what to do for the main group. the rest can jsut do thier thing.

it will be intersting to see the ursanless version come out of the woodwork

the only hints ill give is.. its not trappers. but there is a way to turn a 3 man team into the equivelent of a 5 man team....
